Dodgers Get Mark Sweeney From Giants, World Continues To Spin

The Dodgers acquired pinch-hitter Mark Sweeney from the Giants, for a PTBNL or cash; it was the first deal the clubs have made since December 11, 1985, when the Dodgers sent Candy Maldonado to San Francisco for Alex Trevino. Jon thinks this means the Dodgers are getting impatient with James Loney, among other things.
