Olney: Tejada, Piazza Placed On Waivers
Buster Olney writes that Miguel Tejada of the Orioles and Mike Piazza of the A's were both placed on revocable waivers. Tejada was claimed by the Chisox but no deal was accomplished. Piazza was not claimed, and thus may be freely traded. Supposedly, the Angels were interested in a deal before the trade deadline, but no such deal ever concluded. (Via BTF.)
