Roster Notes
- Former Angel Scott Spiezio has been placed on the restricted list and taken off the 25-man roster in St. Louis. He will undergo treatment for substance abuse.
- Padre-a-week-ago Russell Branyan has been traded to the Phillies by the Indians.
- Rangers OF Jerry Hairston has been placed on the DL with neck and back pain.
- The Mariners released Tomo Ohka.
