The Owlz won the one they had to, their only home game of the Pioneer League finals against a team that has dominated them in the regular season. Led by 3B Jay Brossman, who got the two hard hits of the cycle, the Owlz broke a scoreless tie in the fourth on Gordie Gronkowski's double, a walk by Hector Estrella, and a two-run triple by Julio Perez. Mason Tobin and Ryan Brasier nailed down the last 2.1 innings, with Brasier getting the save.
