Ennui: Astros 7, Dodgers 1
Nothing going on for the Dodgers, Lowe continuing to give up line drives and hard hit balls in the sky — yes, it's about the same for Derek Lowe, who's given up five or more runs in three of his last four outings, and four of five counting this one (though in that span, five of those runs total were unearned). Incidentally, Lowe's 2008 19.4% line drive percentage is about 4% higher than his 15.8% in 2007, and his groundball/flyball out ratio is down to 1.94 from 3.46 last year.
Bottom 9th: Andruw Jones got his only hit of the game, a double that eventually got cashed in on Chin-Lung Hu's groundout to score the Dodgers' only run. Thppt.
