He was placed on three years' probation, ordered to attend a county-approved first-offender alcohol program and pay fines of about $1,400.
Gallo also pleaded guilty to possessing less than one ounce of marijuana in 2007.
In September, Gallo voluntarily enrolled in an alcohol recovery ministry at the Bible Tabernacle, New Life Institute in Canyon Country in north Los Angeles County but was ordered to leave in December, said Mario Harper, director of operations for Bible Tabernacle.
"I discharged him because of his attitude," Harper said in a phone interview. "He was discharged because of his belligerence and his attitude. He just had a gang-banger attitude," Harper said.
