Dodgers To Review Banner Policy

I had heard about a Canadian expat getting in trouble for waving the Maple Leaf flag during the Dodgers' recent homestand against the Blue Jays, but I didn't know it was 1.8m x 1.2m. I would have wanted the guy kicked out of the stadium if I were sitting behind him, too. (He waved it during the singing of the Canadian national anthem, and again in the sixth inning.) The Dodgers will review their policy at the end of the year, which is almost certainly code for, "nothing is going to change".

One thing to consider about the flag waving incident is what if the tables were turned.

I'm guessing that an American getting thrown out for waving an American flag at a sporting event somewhere outside of the US would be something of a big deal.

Only among people who can't see the whole picture. Or the field in front of them.
