Three Errors, Nine Unearned Runs: Pirates 13, Mets 1
Just a horrible game for the Mets at home, whose fans must have been booing vociferously. Three errors yielded nine unearned runs, a number that hasn't been tallied since the Angels gave up nine unearned runs against Cleveland on June 3, 2006. (For those who care, here's my recap of that execrable game. At least the Angels clobbered the Tribe the next day.)
